Introduction

In Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex, you once again take control of Crash and his sister, Coco. As Crash is enjoying the day out, Uka Uka is planning yet once again. Dr. Neo Cortex has a project he has been working on, named Crunch. But unfortunately, he needs more power to complete Crunch, so Uka Uka tells them they can use the Elemental Masks to Cortex can complete Crunch. The elemental masks were masks that had power over earth, air, fire, and water. They were renegades though, they used their powers for bad and not good, until Ancient Ancestors imprisoned them using crystals. Uka Uka uses his power to release these masks, causing destruction among the planet. Crash knows he must get to work. So with the assistance of Aku Aku, and Coco's Virtual Reality warp device, Crash sets out to retrieve the crystals that once imprisoned the elemental masks.
