WWE SmackDown! vs. RAW (PS2)

Six-person simultaneous play once again returns so that would-be wrestlers can make the most of a pair of Multi-tap peripherals and every single one of 2003's game modes have returned to action too. Match types include Hell in the Cell, Slobber Knocker, Table Matches, First Blood, and the brand-new Parking Lot Brawl mode. Visually the game has been given a boost too. Character models and attire in particular have a lot more detail than they did before, with a continued emphasis on facial recreation and animation. Old-school fans should also be pleased to know that legends have been reinstated for the roster as well, with a stronger focus on big name stars and classic personalities, including John Cena, Randy Orton, Booker T, Ric Flair, Batista, Triple H, Chris Jericho, Rico, and Charlie Haas.

Guilty Gear Isuka (PS2)

Guilty Gear Isuka marks the first time in the series' history that players will be able to participate in four-person fighting. Whether gamers decide to battle it out two-on-two style or team up for four-player co-op against the computer, it adds an all-new dynamic to the series. The game also lets you customize your character by providing the opportunity to buy new moves and combos and change costumes via a point system. It also introduces three new playable characters for a grand total of 23. Other new improvements include a side-scrolling action game mode, some brand new fighting arenas, and a re-tooled survival mode. The storyline takes a much more prominent role this time around too, with several surprise revelations about new and existing characters.

Spyro A Hero's Tail (GCN/PS2/Xbox)

In Spyro A Hero's Tail, Spyro must save the Dragon Realms from the Evil Red Dragon who has planted light-sapping Dark Gems all over the Dragon Realms in an attempt to capture and control the world. With the help of his allies, Spyro must seek out and destroy all of the Dark Gems to return the lands back to normal and to save the Dragon Realms from the evil dragon's tyrannical control.

As the name hints at Ultima Online: Samurai Empire mixes things up a bit and deviates from the tried and true UO formula by setting the adventure in an exotic Japanese-inspired land, and by featuring two deadly new professions for players to master -- the Samurai and the Ninja.

The Lord of the Rings: the Third Age (GBA/GCN/PS2/Xbox)

The Lord of the Rings: The Third Age allows players to adventure through Middle-earth, building a party of heroes as they journey. Players battle on the side of the Fellowship, but can unlock additional encounters where they fight on the side of Sauron as they progress. In the game, players will interact with key characters of the Fellowship in a unique structure, taking on individual quests while intersecting the major events of the film trilogy that drive the story forward such as the epic battles at Helm's Deep and Minas Tirith. Parties will traverse through both familiar and seldom-glimpsed locations, using an innovative turn-based battle system as they fight, encountering the demonic Balrog in the Mines of Moria, or defending the fallen city of Osgiliath.

Killzone (PS2)

Set in the not too distant future, Killzone tells the story of humanity's colonization of the galaxy. Suddenly and without warning, an interplanetary war breaks out between the splinter group known as the Helghast and an Earth-loyal squad called ISA. Opening with a sequence that sees the soldiers trapped in an abandoned building, the combatants are surrounded by Helghast and come under siege. They are, in effect, caught within a Killzone. Players battle their way through 26 story-oriented stages with distinctively scripted "memorable moments" for every level. Scenarios include gunship assaults with dozens of troopers and an all-out melee near a collapsing bridge.

ATV Offroad Fury 3 (PS2)

Technic Beat (PS2)

In Technic Beat, players listen to music represented in the game by radiating concentric rings of sound. Picking up the beat, they dance into the middle of the rings and try to "catch" the music. If successful, they achieve the power to manipulate the sound rings and create entirely new music. As players progress and gain skill they are rewarded with spectacular visual displays, bonuses, and power ups.
